Trnávka Lonely Planet

In her book Lonely Planet Trnávka, Slovak photographer Lenka L. Lukačovičová maps the ever-changing local area of Trnávka in Bratislava, where the author herself lives. She photographs, in cyclical phases, her routine walks during her daily commute. The seemingly banal records of the suburb thus reveal many layers of meaning and draw attention to things, unexpected situations, the state and constant transformations of this space. Accompanied by a bilingual brochure of Reflections and Studies of the area. The book was compiled by Eduard Kudláč.

Lenka L. Lukačovičová v knihe Lonely Planet Trnávka mapuje neustále meniacu sa miestnu časť Trnávka v Bratislave, kde autorka sama žije. Fotograficky, v cyklických fázach zaznamenáva svoje rutinné prechádzky pri každodenných presunoch. Zdanlivo banálne záznamy predmestia tak odkrývajú mnoho významových vrstiev a upriamujú pozornosť na veci, neočakávané situácie, stav a neustále premeny tohto priestoru. Knihu zostavil Eduard Kudláč.
