Marisma is an independent magazine celebrating culture and travel in both Spanish and English. Each issue presents a thoughtful, contemporary look at regional culture, questioning stereotypes and exploring what truly defines a territory. Marisma (Spanish for tidal marsh) acts as a metaphor for a country’s culture: a biodiverse ecosystem that is variable, where migratory birds mix with sweet and salty waters.

The debut issue, launched in 2026, explores the soul of Andalucía through intimate storytelling and authentic voices. Rather than following the predictable path of conventional travel guides, Marisma offers a deeply human perspective that reveals the real stories, people, and identity of each region. Marisma believes meaningful travel goes beyond sightseeing—it's about connection, understanding, and respect for the places we visit.
