Domina #2

Domina's issue 2 is an examination of re-formation, rebellion and the reshaping of bodily ideals. Against a backdrop of threats to female autonomy and rights, the issue brings together creatives united in their commitment to dismantling outdated norms alongside highlighting new identities in the making.

Featuring a model and activist Cora Corré on the cover, elswhere Cassi Namoda’s cinematic pastel paintings tell a story of a nomadic, multi-heritage existence within a colonial and post-colonial world; Apolonia Sokol’s ‘deeply feminist’ figurative paintings challenge political structures; and, Céline Bodin presents ‘The Hunt’—a striking photographic series, portraying western hairstyles as a shifting representation of bodily autonomy across the centuries.
