Casa BRUTUS #316

This issue of Casa BRUTUS dives into postmodern design, from Ettore Sottsass and the Memphis group to the Japanese designers who helped shape the movement. With a major Sottsass retrospective opening in Japan, it's a good moment to revisit the sculptural furniture, bold colours, and playful shapes that challenged modernism's obsession with function. Inside, explore iconic designs, postmodern architecture in Milan and Tokyo, conversations with former Memphis members, and a guide to pieces you can still buy today. Wondering why postmodernism is back? Start here.

Casa BRUTUS is a monthly Japanese publication from Magazine House. It is a lifestyle and design magazine that presents beautiful living topics such as design, fashion, architecture, gourmet food, travel, art, and more.
