Bratislava: Atlas sídlisk, 1950 – 1995

Monograph Bratislava: Atlas of Mass Housing, 1950–1995 presents the history and the social, economic, urbanistic, and architectural contexts of housing estate construction in Bratislava during the second half of the 20th century. The authors analyze each panel-housing estate in the city in terms of urban structure, construction and architectural aspects, and assess residential areas, amenities, greenery, and transport in the original plans, while also highlighting the specific conditions of their creation and construction. The publication captures an important stage of housing development in Slovakia in the second half of the 20th century, especially the era of panel housing estates, and provides facts and information, many of which have not yet been published. The text is in Slovak and English.

Monografia Bratislava: atlas sídlisk, 1950 – 1995 predstavuje históriu, spoločenské, ekonomické, urbanistické a architektonické súvislosti výstavby sídlisk v druhej polovici 20. storočia na území Bratislavy. Autori analyzujú každé panelové sídlisko v meste z hľadiska urbanistickej štruktúry, konštrukčných a architektonických stránok, bilancujú obytné plochy, vybavenosť sídlisk, zeleň aj dopravu v pôvodnom návrhu a upozorňujú na špecifiká vzniku a výstavby sídlisk. Publikácia približuje významnú etapu bytovej výstavby na Slovensku v druhej polovice 20. storočia, najmä panelových sídlisk, a uvádza fakty aj informácie, z ktorých mnohé ešte neboli publikované.
