A&U Architektúra & urbanizmus #60

The academic peer-reviewed journal.
Provides a forum for the publication of research papers on architecture and town-planning of 20th and 21st century, with focus on Central and Eastern Europe.

Architektúra & urbanizmus stands as a bold intellectual platform where cutting-edge research collides with architectural discourse. This peer-reviewed journal fearlessly explores the theory, history, and philosophy shaping 20th and 21st century architecture and urban design across Central and Eastern Europe. It challenges conventional thinking by examining how architecture intersects with art, technology, and environmental concerns, while diving into the sociology, psychology, and social ecology of built spaces. The publication ventures beyond traditional criticism to celebrate visionary architects and transformative works, while also interrogating education practices and emerging methodologies. Published quarterly by the Slovak Academy of Sciences' Department of Architecture, this journal refuses to play it safe—it's essential reading for those pushing boundaries in architectural thought and practice.
