The 29-year-old actor, who plays Lauryn in acclaimed series Top Boy, had quite the story arc in the last season, with her character being coercively controlled by her partner and his sister. She was nominated for the BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for the part, and has since said that the response she has received from survivors means more than any accolade.
